The Spaghetti Pomodoro Principle: Why Simple Is So Hard
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Great leaders move from being “busy being busy” to being monomaniacally focused on the few things that matter most. In a distracted world, they are disciplined executors. They choose depth over speed, completion over motion, and impact over appearance. They make the hard decisions to prioritize what truly moves the mission forward—and they inspire others to do the same.
My latest book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy” is full of fresh ideas and original tools that I’m absolutely certain will cause quantum leaps in your positivity, productivity, wellness, and happiness. You can order it now by clicking here.
Don't be superficial. Go granular. You know, I remember reading a great article on the CEO of Monclair, his last name is Raffino, and they asked him, what's your favorite dish? And he said, spaghetti pomodoro. It's just pasta. It's just fresh tomatoes. It's just olive oil. It's just basil or basil or whatever the herb is. The point is, here's what he said. It's a simple dish to prepare. But it's absolutely difficult because very few people can get the right calibration. know, the mass of humanity, it's superficial. They know the great TV shows. They don't know the Mindsets or the Heartsets of the great masters. Most people, it's a superficial approach to their work. They just show up at nine o'clock, they leave at five, and they repeat the same formula they've done for their whole life. It's a superficial approach to their life. Not judging, just saying. If you say, what are your five priorities for the next quarter? If you ask them, what needs to happen this year for this to be the single greatest year of your life? If you were to say, what's your 50 year formula? In other words, have you deconstructed your next 50 years so you have the awareness to spend each day getting closer to your end result? They'll say, I don't know. It's the. Mass of superficiality versus the cult of granularity. So, go deep. Be rigorous when it comes to your life. Be calibrated
when it comes to blueprinting your days, understanding your craft, optimizing your work output, okay? Be super prepared at everything that you do.
