Understand that your ecosystem shapes your mindset.

When you are building something meaningful, be deliberate about what you let in. Use the news strategically, not reflexively.

Seek out places that elevate you—art galleries, forests, great architecture, open water. Visit the spaces where beauty lives. Your environment is not a passive backdrop to your creative life; it is an active ingredient in it. The people you surround yourself with, the places you choose to work, even the music you play—all of it is either feeding your creativity or diminishing it.

In art, we are blessed to hang out with the great masters. And if we’re open, a little of their stardust always rubs off on us.

My latest book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy” is full of fresh ideas and original tools that I’m absolutely certain will cause quantum leaps in your positivity, productivity, wellness, and happiness. You can order it now by clicking here.

Read books of heroic women and men. Because reading a book is having a conversation with the author. Read the autobiography of Nelson Mandela. Read about Aristotle, Onassis, and other industry titans. Read about the great inventors and the great visionaries. Read about the world-builders. Study, what was their philosophy? How did they see themselves? What were their morning routines? What were their pre-sleep rituals? How did they overcome failure? Read the books of the great women and men of history. Victims love entertainment. They're with their phones all day. Leaders love education. So I'm going to encourage you, one hour every night, the 60-minute student, read books on heroism so that their stardust starts to infuse your psychology and your emotionality, and that starts to build them up and make you stronger.
