Select the Path of Most Resistance
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Hard becomes easy and easy becomes hard.
What I mean by this is that by choosing hard projects and hard books to read and hard workouts to do and hard ambitions to pursue, the struggle will make you stronger, braver and better…
…which eventually makes for a happier, healthier and easier life.
And in choosing a life of pleasure, trivial pursuits and lightness in all cases, the pain of your potential unrealized creates deep and lasting hardship.
So when faced with a choice, I gently encourage you to always select the path of most resistance. It’ll make you great.
My latest book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy” is full of fresh ideas and original tools that I’m absolutely certain will cause quantum leaps in your positivity, productivity, wellness, and happiness. You can order it now by clicking here.

The former you must experience a crucifixion for the greatest you to experience a resurrection. Any great philosopher will tell you the very journey of reclaiming human greatness, the very journey of you owning your genius, the very nature of you presenting your bigness to the world means who you once were, who you've always been, must die. So that the better you, can have a rebirth. The very nature of a conscious, excellent, bold, heroic life means it's a series of deaths and rebirths. Every time you have a growth spurt in terms of your productivity, in terms of your performance, in terms of your human power, the old you dies. And when the old you dies, there's a discomfort. Personally, through my entire life as on this growth path, it's death, rebirth, death, rebirth. And then I get to a certain level, I'll go along, integrate all the learning, and all of a sudden, next level of growth, my old beliefs get let go, some of my emotional ways of being let go, I let go of old habits, let go of old behaviors, that old part of me dies. And it feels like a death, sometimes for a week, sometimes for a month. I feel more tired, I'll feel confused, I'll feel sort of groundless until the next level of me integrates and then it becomes familiar and safe and it's rebirth. And so, as you will experience many or macro dark nights of the soul, you will experience deaths for the benefit of a rebirth. People don't talk about this, but it's so incredibly powerful. And I guess what I'm suggesting to you is the path to greatness is a messy sport. It is not for meek people, but it's the best sport you could ever do because this is how you become brave. This is how you become unconquerable. This is how you become a force of nature. This is how you become your truest and best self.
