Leadership Is a Dangerous Act
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Leadership is not a title. It is not a corner office, a name on a door, or a position granted by someone you might work for.
For over 25 years, I have been sharing a single message that has only deepened my conviction: leadership without a title is available to every human being alive. And when you model this practice, you not only elevate your influence, you scale your joy.
Whether you are a coder or a filmmaker, a teacher or a CEO, a parent or a student—you can lead. Because leadership, at its core, is simply the opposite of victimhood.
Yes, it’s the decision, made fresh each morning, to take responsibility for your life, your work, and the special corner of the world you inhabit.
And here is what I know about real leaders: they do not emerge in the sunshine. They emerge in the darkness. We are living through one of the most volatile, uncertain, and disorienting periods in modern memory. And that is precisely when your leadership matters most.
My latest book “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy” is full of fresh ideas and original tools that I’m absolutely certain will cause quantum leaps in your positivity, productivity, wellness, and happiness. You can order it now by clicking here.
Any leader takes people to impossible places. And that very act is a very dangerous act because you'll scare the status quo and people who are clinging to the safe harbor of vanilla. And that's why the job of a great woman or a great man is to take people to a Mount Everest they never thought they could go to, but understand that you're going to be criticized. And if you do something really powerful, like put out a really powerful piece of work, you're gonna have extreme reactions on either side. And if it's really innovative, you're gonna scare people.
