Be a letter writer in a world gone completely digital. Go out today and get some stationery, or if you want to, make some personal stationery, and maybe it'll have your name on it, and maybe a wonderful quote that is inspiring you. And on a daily basis, write a letter to someone you meet. Write a letter to a parent who's inspired you or helped you. Write a letter to a friend. who was there in a dark moment. Write a letter to an author who has inspired you. Write a letter to a musician whose music made you feel incredibly happy. But writing a letter, again, it's so abnormal, which makes it so very special. Again, when my kids were young, I had to practice no matter where I was in the world. I would take the stationery that hotels provide. I'd write a letter to Colby and I'd say, here's where I am and here's what the city's like, to give them a little taste of what the city was like. And then I would write a life lesson and I would end it with, love you. And then I'd write a letter to Bianca, here's what I did today. Here's a life lesson for you, Bianca. I love you, dad. And over the years, these letters accumulated and hopefully they will store these letters from their father from his travels around this precious world we live in and look at them
fondly. And remember not only the lesson, but how much I love them.
